Verizon Wireless is getting ready to launch a new RIM smartphone, BlackBerry 9530 Storm. The smartphone seems to be the same as what was previously known under the name of BlackBerry Thunder or BlackBerry 9500. It’s RIM’s first touchscreen device and it should hit the market by the end of 2008.
A recently leaked image gives us precious details about the smartphone: an 8GB microSD card and a 3.5mm headset jack. These aspects aside, the BlackBerry Storm should be a great multimedia device, but little is known about its actual capabilities.

Motorola Blaze ZN4 should be soon released by Verizon in the US. Though the new handset has not been announced yet, some live images have appeared at PhoneArena.
Coming in a clamshell form factor, the Blaze ZN4 should bring CDMA EV-DO connectivity as well as a set of mid to high-end features: built-in GPS, full HTML browser, advanced media capabilities and a 2 Megapixel camera.
The clamshell sports a semi-transparent flip cover that protects its internal display, which is not an ordinary one, as it’s touch-enabled, representing the only way that users can interact with the handset’s functions (thus the Blaze is a keypad-less device).
There are no details about Motorola Blaze ZN4’s price and exact release date for the moment.

Verizon Wireless announced recently the availability of LG Voyager in Titanium.
Compared to the old black Voyager, the new Voyager doesn’t bring too many new features. The main difference is that the Titanium Voyager comes with Verizon’s Visual Voice Mail and V CAST Music with Rhapsody services pre-installed.
Verizon offers the new Voyager online, on Verizon’s official website, and in its retail stores across the States. It costs $149.99 with a contract agreement for two years (and after a 50 bucks mail-in rebate).
However, the Visual Voice Mail services and V CAST Music with Rhapsody are not free: the first one is available for a monthly fee of $2.99, while the second comes for $14.99 per month.
LG Voyager brings the following features: a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen external display, a similar internal screen (sans the touch capabilities), a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera, VZ Navigator, dual speakers and expandable memory.
