This new Samsung Pixon, called the M8800, is a highly advanced mobile phone including a fantastic digital camera.

The Pixon comes with a secondary video call camera, a 3.2” QVGA(240×400pixels) 256K color TFT touchscreen, USB v2.0 microUSB, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, built-in GPS, geo-tagging feature, 200MB of internal memory and up to 8GB card slot, the MP4, MP3 and windows Media Player complete with surround sound system, the TV-out capability, FM radio, Java MIDP 2.0 and Office like programs.

The Pixon measures 107.9 x 54.6 x 13.8 and weighs 121 g.

The device is set to go to AT&T, running on the American 3G 1900 and 850 HSDPA 7.2 MBPS network.

Samsung SCH-i770 Windows Mobile smartphone has appeared on the FCC.

The SCH-i770 features a touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, both dual-band CDMA (800/1900MHz) support and at least dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz) support, WiFi and EV-DO support, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo.

HP iPAQ Data Messenger features a 2.81-inch transmissive TFT touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixel, 65K colors and LED backlight, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Pro version of Windows Mobile 6.1 and so on.

HP iPAQ Data Messenger costs 399 pounds (SIM-free), and should be available starting mid-November.

The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition is a portable touchscreen computer that is powered by Nokia’s Maemo, a version of mobile Linux.

The N810 WiMAX edition began shipping recently from Nokia’s US website.

The handset features built-in WiFi for high-speed internet, WiMAX networks, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a large touchscreen display, a virtual on-screen QWERTY keyboard and handwriting recognition.

NokiaUSA.com is listing the device for US$433 after a $50 instant rebate.

HTC, the Taiwan-based manufacturer of Windows Mobile handsets, has just released a short video of the new Touch HD.

HTC Touch HD’s features include: quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), dual-band HSDPA connectivity (900 / 2100 MHz), a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with a WVGA resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, TouchFLO 3D User Interface, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, a 5 Megapixel autofocus camera, accelerometer, a 3.5mm headset jack, YouTube dedicated player, Pocket Office and extendable memory. The touchscreen smartphone measures 115 x 63 x 12 millimeters.

The Pocket PC should be available before the end of 2008. The retail price was not unveiled.

BlackBerry Storm 9500, RIM’s new touchscreen smartphone, has not yet been officially announced. But many details and images of the new handset have appeared over the past month.
