Samsung Serenata Music Phone

Samsung Serenata music phone is now available in Hong Kong. This new handset was first announced at the end of 2007. It offers the latest music-meets-phone technology to users.

Measuring 109.5 x 63 x 19.7 millimeters and weighing 136 grams, Samsung Serenata packs a 2.26 inch TFT touchscreen display with 256K colors and 240 x 240 pixels, a simple to use interface, tri-band GSM connectivity with EDGE, plus 3G/HSDPA, no less than 4GB of internal memory, a hi-fi stereo speaker with Bang & Olufsen’s ICEpower technology, Music player, email and Web capabilities, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0, scheduler, voice memo and a 1000 mAh battery offering up to 3 hours of talk-time and up to 220 hours of stand-by time.

Samsung Serenata costs 13,888 HKD (around $1,780 or 1,145 Euros) in Hong Kong.

Samsung presented its new high-end music phone, Serenata, at the CeBIT 2008 show in Hannover, Germany. Samsung Serenata packs many high-end features, including: a 2.26 inch 256K colors 240 x 240 pixels TFT touchscreen, 4GB of internal memory, music player (MP3, AAC and WMA), Bang & Olufsen high-quality sound, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, 3G connectivity, email and Internet capabilities. It measures 109.5 x 63 x 19.7 mm, and weighs 136 g.

Samsung Serenata is not yet available globally, but it will have a retail price of at least $1,500.
