Motorola EM25 ROKR Phone Unveiled

Motorola EM25 has just been announced. The new ROKR handset targets young consumers who want their handsets to pack lots of music related features.

Coming in a slider form factor, the EM25 brings about the same features as the two new ROKR handsets: EM30 and EM28, save for the fact that this one only packs dual-band GSM technology (850 / 1900 MHz or 900 / 1800 MHz) with GPRS.

Relying on Moto’s ModeShift technology, the EM25 comes with a keypad that can change its look and functionality in order to offer users a good control over its functions.

Motorola EM28 has just been announced. The new ROKR handset targets young consumers who want their handsets to pack lots of music related features.

Motorola EM28 was first spotted on the FCC website, under the name of Motorla Ischia.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the EM28 brings the following features: a 1.2 external display that features touch-sensitive music controls, Music player, a 3.5mm headset jack, 3D sound effects, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, CrystalTalk technology, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, USB 2.0, microSD card support for up to 2GB and tri-band GSM connectivity (850 / 1800 / 1900 MHz or 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz – depending on the region), plus GPRS and EDGE.

Motorola EM30 has just been announced. The new ROKR handset targets young consumers who want their handsets to pack lots of music related features.

Coming in a candybar form factor, the EM30 brings the following features: Music player with high-end audio quality, Windows Media Player 11, a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio with RDS, CrystalTalk technology, USB 2.0, a 2 Megapixel camera, expandable memory (up to 8GB), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE and a 970 mAh battery that can last up to five hours in talk-time mode or up to 300 hours in stand-by mode.

Motorola EM30, a new ROKR phone, was recently approved by FCC.

The EM30 comes in a candybar form factor, it features a flat, morphing keypad, GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE, a 2 Megapixel camera with video, 2GB of internal memory, microSD card support, MOntavista Linux 6.2.1 OS, Music player, FM radio, an audio jack, email capabilities, full HTML browser, Instant Messaging, A-GPS navigation, Bluetooth, microUSB, voice-activated dialing, handsfree, Exchange ActiveSync, file manager, office tools and so on.
