Lenovo P960, a new smartphone, is now available in China. The P960 come with fingerprint biometrics, packing a fingerprint scanner on its edge. The Intelligent Touch Control solution is provided by Atrua Technologies, a Californian company.
Lenovo P960 only come with dual-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 MHz) with GPRS; hence, it’s targeted for the Chinese market only.
Measuring 117 x 58 x 17 millimeters and weighing 108 grams, the P960 smartphone brings the following features: VIP recording that can automatically record any call from any number users designate, a 2.8 inch TFT display with 65K colors, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Music player, and a 1760 mAh battery that can probably provide some good talk and stand-by times.

Samsung P960 TV phone will be available in Europe soon, and will be the world’s first TV phone to come in a slider form factor and to support DVB-H, according an announcement by Samsung.
Samsung P960 was first unveiled at the beginning of the year, during MWC 2008. The P960 works with both of the current European mobile TV standards: DVB-CBMS and OMA-BCAST.
Measuing only 16.7 millimeters in thickness, the P960 packs a 2.6 inch TFT display with 263K colors, 240 x 320 pixels and DNIe image enhancement, a 3.15 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, tri-band GSM and HSDPA 2100 connectivity, microSD card support, Music player, FM radio with RDS, email, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, Bang & Olufsen ICEPower technology for a high-end audio experience, TV-out, Time-shifting, a feature that allows you to view the programs without interruptions, ESG (Electronic Service Guide) for on-screen program guides, PIP (Picture in Picture) for viewing two channels simultaneously, a 1200 mAh battery capable of offering up to 5 hours of TV-watching and so on.
The price and the exact markets that will get the new Samsung P960 were not unveiled yet.
