Sony Ericsson SO-01A, aka SO907i, will apparently be launched by NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s largest mobile operator.
Not much information about the SO-01A is available on the Internet and other media. As you can see, SO907i is designed to be a smartphone with a flip-style design. One side has a regular keypad along with a smaller display, but if the new Sony Ericsson handset is turned over, users will have a full touchscreen display at their disposal.

Panasonic P706ie, a mid-end clamshell, has recently been unveiled in Japan.
Measuring 109 x 49 x 16 millimeters, when kept closed, and weighing 106 grams, the new P706ie brings the following features: HSDPA connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, a 3 inch TFT internal display with 262K colors and 240 x 427 pixels, a small external 0.8 inch display with 96 x 25 pixels, a large internal keypad, mobile TV capabilities, Web browser, Instant Messaging, pre-installed maps, multi-tasking capabilities, bar-code reader, voice dialing, USB, both microSD/microSDHC cards support up to 8GB and a battery that should offer up to 190 minutes of talk-time, up to 20 hours of music playback, up to 330 minutes of TV viewing (if used in ECO mode) or up to 570 hours of stand-by time.

Sony Ericsson SO706i will soon be available in Japan via NTT DoCoMo, the largest mobile operator in the country.
Coming in a clamshell form factor, the SO706i is mainly targeted at female users. It comes in three basic color versions: black, white and golden pink, as well as in lots of other girly-colored versions. Also, the handset is packed with countless floral motifs wallpapers.
Measuring 105 x 49 x 13.4 millimeters (when closed) and weighing 98 grams, the SO706i packs a 2.8 inch TFT internal display with 240 x 427 pixels and 262K colors, external LEDs for incoming calls, messages or emails, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording and auto focus, microSD card support up to 2GB, advanced email and Web capabilities (Flash Lite 3.0 support included), mobile TV, Google Maps, Google search integration, a battery capable of offering up to 3.6 hours of talk-time, up to 290 hours of stand-by time and up to 100 minutes of continuous TV viewing.
Sony Ericsson SO706i will hit the market in Japan on the 4th of July, for a retail price of 40,000 Japanese yen (around $380 or 240 Euros).
