LG recently announced KB620 at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. The LG KB620 is a TV phone that has a high speed HSDPA connectivity up to 7.2 Mbps. It comes in a clamshell form, and comes packed with a 2.2 (maybe 2.4) inches display, DVB-H technology. The LG KB620 will be available during the first half of 2008, the retail price is unknown yet.

The leading Indian telecommunications company, Spice Corp Ltd., presented the world’s cheapest mobile phone at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. This handset is called “People’s Phone“, and will retail for a price of less than 20 USD. The People’s Phone has no display, and is perfect for those who only want to make phone calls and do not care for other features. It works on GMS networks, and will be available in the March 2008.

LG recently announced two new 3G global roaming handsets - LG KM560 (aka LG CM560) and LG KP330 (aka LG CP330). They support all three WCDMA bands (850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz) and the conventional GSM bands, so they are able to automatically roam in 220 countries.
The LG KM560 and LG KP330 handsets were selected by AT&T, Telstra, Telefonica Movile, Telenor, Cable & Wireless International, Rogers Wireless and Entel PCS, nine leading mobile operators.

Toshiba announced Portégé G810, a new stylish touchscreen handset, at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. It features a 2.83 inches 65K colors QVGA touchscreen with a 320 x 240 pixels resolution, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, a microSD card slot, Windows Media Player Mobile, FM radio, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS and A-GPS function, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF viewer), HSDPA and HSUPA. It measures 110 x 58 x 14 mm, and weighs 120 g.
The Toshiba Portégé G810 will be available across Europe in Q2 2008.

HTC announced its new Pocket PCs HTC P3470 at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. The HTC P3470 PDA is a quad-band GSM/EDGE handset that runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS, and features a 2.8 inches TFT 65K colors touchscreen with a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, a 2 MP camera, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, miniUSB, built-in GPS functions, MP3 and video player.
HTC P3470 will be available in the UK, Spain, France, and the Netherlands market soon at about 450 EUR before taxes and subsidies.

Nokia announced its new Nokia N96 handset at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. It is a multimedia computer that optimized for video and TV. Nokia N96 features a 2.8 inches screen, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 16 GB internal memory, a microDS card slot, Windows Media Video (can deliver high-quality videos in a wide range of formats), Flash Video, a 3.5 mm headphone connector, built-in 3D stereo speakers, USB 2.0, WLAN, HSDPA, integrated DVB-H receiver in select markets, A-GPS.

It will be available in the third quarter of 2008 in select markets.
