LG KF350 Clamshell for Europe

LG KF350, a new clamshell, will be available in Europe in October.

Measuring 100.9 x 50.9 x 14.8 millimeters, when closed, and weighing 102 grams, the KF350 brings the following features: 3 Megapixel camera, a user-friendly keypad and a cool navigation pad, a 2.2 inch TFT internal display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors, tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, Music player (MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA files are supported), Video player (MPEG4, H.263), 30MB of memory (expandable via a microSD card), polyphonic ringtones, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, email, Web browser, messaging capabilities (SMS, MMS and EMS), USB 2.0 and an 800 mAh battery.

LG KF350 will come in several color versions.

Panasonic P706ie Mid-end Clamshell Unveiled

Panasonic P706ie, a mid-end clamshell, has recently been unveiled in Japan.

Measuring 109 x 49 x 16 millimeters, when kept closed, and weighing 106 grams, the new P706ie brings the following features: HSDPA connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, a 3 inch TFT internal display with 262K colors and 240 x 427 pixels, a small external 0.8 inch display with 96 x 25 pixels, a large internal keypad, mobile TV capabilities, Web browser, Instant Messaging, pre-installed maps, multi-tasking capabilities, bar-code reader, voice dialing, USB, both microSD/microSDHC cards support up to 8GB and a battery that should offer up to 190 minutes of talk-time, up to 20 hours of music playback, up to 330 minutes of TV viewing (if used in ECO mode) or up to 570 hours of stand-by time.

Nokia 3610 Fold has just been presented, and it will be commercially released in September for 125 Euros.

The new 3610 Fold is just an elegant-looking device that packs a range of basic features.

Samsung A237 Flip Phone Available Soon via AT&T

Samsung A237 (or SGH-A237), a new flip phone, will be soon offered by AT&T.

The new A237 is an affordable handset that does not come with too many features.

No details of its official specs have been announced yet, nor about its price and release date.

Anyway, there are some pictures of Samsung A237, so we can see that it is a clamshell which resembles lots of other previously-launched Samsung flip phones. It has a small interal display, and a smaller one on the outside, but the number of colors and resolution are not known. Furthermore, the handset also has a photo camera, which probably doesn’t have more than 1.3 Megapixels.

Motorola EM28 ROKR Phone Unveiled

Motorola EM28 has just been announced. The new ROKR handset targets young consumers who want their handsets to pack lots of music related features.

Motorola EM28 was first spotted on the FCC website, under the name of Motorla Ischia.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the EM28 brings the following features: a 1.2 external display that features touch-sensitive music controls, Music player, a 3.5mm headset jack, 3D sound effects, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, CrystalTalk technology, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, USB 2.0, microSD card support for up to 2GB and tri-band GSM connectivity (850 / 1800 / 1900 MHz or 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz - depending on the region), plus GPRS and EDGE.

Relying on Moto’s ModeShift technology, the EM28 comes with a keypad that can change its look and functionality in order to offer users a good control over its functions.

Samsung B289 Entry-level Clamshell Unveiled

Samsung B289 (or Samsung SCH-B289) was recently unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer in Asia.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the new entry-level handset bring the following features: CMDA frequencies, a 1.5 inch CSTN internal display with a QVGA resolution and 65K colors, FM Radio, polyphonic ringtones, only few MBs of internal memory and no microSD card support.

The new B289 has no Music player or a photo camera.

The exact retail price of Samsung B289 is not known, but it should be around $100. Most probably, the new handset will first be available across Asia, with a American release to follow.

Samsung B308 (or Samsung SGH-B308) was recently unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer in Asia.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the new entry-level handset bring the following features: dual-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 MHz) with GPRS, a 1.5 inch CSTN internal display with 65K colors and 128 x 128 pixels, WAP 2.0 browser, FM radio, handsfree, polyphonic ringtones, alarm clock, Java games, USB and only 2MB of internal memory and no microSD card support, and an 800 mAh battery that should last for up to three hours in talk-time mode or up to 200 hours in stand-by mode.

The new B308 has no Music player or a photo camera.

Samsung B308 measures 87 x 45 x 18.9 millimeters, when not folded, and weighs 79 grams.

The exact retail price of Samsung B308 is not known, but it should be around $100. Most probably, the new handset will first be available across Asia, with a European release to follow.

Motorola U9 Music Phone Available in the US

Motorola U9 is now available in the US from Motorola’s Store. It comes in an unlocked GSM version, and costs $275.99.

Sony Ericsson W707 (Alicia) Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson W707, official name of Sony Ericsson Alicia, will soon be released, according to SEMC Blog.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the new Walkman phone will packs a 3.15 Megapixel camera with video recording (no flash and no auto focus). It will also bring some nice music features. We should expect the W707 to feature HSDPA connectivity, Web and email capabilities, as well as other goodies.

Sony Ericsson W707 (Alicia) will probably be officially announced on July 22. Other details are not known yet.
