Unveiled several weeks ago, Palm Treo Pro, the new Windows Mobile-based smartphone, has been released in the United States.

This Treo Pro is available unlocked in Palm’s online store, for $550.

In Europe, Palm Treo Pro is being offered through Vodafone, who has not yet released the smartphone.

Samsung and Giorgio Armani released a new luxury handset, called Armani Night Effect.

Coming in a black candybar form factor, the Armani Night Effect brings the following features: a 2.2″ AM OLED display with 262k colors and 240×320 pixel resolution, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus around back, 3.5mm headset jack, dedicated music playback keys, an LED light bar which runs around the middle of the phone, quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and 3G UMTS (2100MHz) support with HSDPA for high-speed data access, Bluetooth with A2DP, Web-based email, SMS/MMS, 120MB internal memory, a microSD card slot and so on.

Armani Night Effect measures 114.9mm x 47.4mm x 11.9mm (4.5″ x 1.9″ x .5″).

The luxury handset should be available in November throughout Europe, with other regions following closely behind, its price has not yet been released.

Announced at the end of July, together with Sony Ericsson W595 slider and Walkman candybar (W302), the W902, Sony Ericsson’s unreleased yet Walkman flagship, has been recently caught in live, unboxing images.

Spotted over at the SE-Society forums, the new Walkman phone’s new live pics show us a candybar that has quite a unique look, thanks to its asymmetrical margins.

Coming as the Walkman brother of the C902 Cyber-shot, Sony Ericsson W902 brings the following features: Walkman Player 3.0 with dedicated keys, advanced music capabilities, Shake control, FM radio with RDS, a 2.2 QGVA TFT display made out of mineral glass, a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, image stabilizer, geotagging and video recording, quad-band GSM connectivity, HSDPA 2100 connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer, push email, NetFront browser, handsfree and an 8GB Memory Stick Micro card and a 930 mAh battery should provide up to 9 hours in talk-time mode or up to 380 hours in stand-by mode.

Sony Ericsson W902 measures 110 x 49 x 11.7 millimeters, weighs 100 grams.

The W902 should be available in the last quarter of this year, in three color versions: Wine Red, Earth Green and Volcanic Black. Its price has not been announced yet.

Nokia N79, the latest Nseries smartphone, has been approved by the FCC recently.

The N79 measures 110 x 49 x 15 millimeters (4.33 x 1.92 x 0.59 inches) and weighs 97 grams (3.42 ounces). It brings a 1200 mAh battery that is capable of providing a talk-time of up to 5.5 hours or a stand-by time of up to 372 hours.

Samsung recently launched the Samsung B2700, a ruggedized candybar. The Samsung B2700 uses GSM for 2G connectivity and supports 3G on the 2100MHz UMTS frequency band.

This candybar handset is solid handset that provides all the basic features in a very durable anti-shock case. Samsung B2700 also boasts IP54 specs and can protect itself from outside elements such as dust and moisture.

Other features include: a 1.9″ color TFT display, a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, MP3 player, Video capture/playback, MMS/SMS, Bluetooth v2.0, 15MB internal memory, microSD card slot, built-in altimeter, compass, pedometer, torch light and a 1300mAh battery that should provide up to 5 hours of talk time or 14.5 days of standby time.

The Samsung B2700 is expected to be available this month in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Nokia recently presented a new Nseries smartphone: the N79. The new N79 will be available starting October for 350 Euros ($514).

Coming in a candybar form factor, Nokia N79 brings the following features: a 2.4 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, a 5 Megapixel camera with all the characteristics of the one included in the N85, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, GPS and A-GPS, Music and Video players, a 3.5mm audio jack, Nokia Maps, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, TV-out, pre-installed Nseries games and 50MB of built-in memory, a 4GB card and a 1200 mAh battery that can provide only up to 5.5 hours of GSM talk-time, 3.5 hours of 3G talk-time or up to 24 hours of music playback.

The N79 smartphone measures 110 x 49 x 15 millimeters and weighs 97 grams.

Nokia will ship the N79 in two versions, silver and white, each of them coming with 3 Xpress-on smart covers that can be green, red, brown, white or blue.

Sony Ericsson will soon release a “celebrity red” version of its G502 mid-end candybar. The G502 is currently available in “brilliant hazel” and black.

There is no official info yet on the red G502, but according to the SEMC Blog, the Swedish-Japanese company should offer the new G502 in the near future.

Officially introduced at the end of April, the G502 comes under the codename Sony Ericsson Emelie.

Sony Ericsson T700, a latest-announced fashionable handset, has now two official video presentations.

First appeared under the name Sony Ericsson Remi, the T700 is a good-looking handset that packs many music and photography features.

Coming in a candybar form factor, the T700 brings the following features: a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, music player, video player, high-quality stereo speakers, FM radio with RDS, a 2 inch TFT display with 256K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, push email, NetFront browser, Instant Messaging, quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), GPRS and EDGE, HSDPA 2100, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, handsfree, 25MB of internal memory and a 512MB card and a battery that should offer up to 9.5 hours in talk-time mode or up to 370 hours in stand-by mode.

Sony Ericsson T700 measures only 104 x 48 x 10 millimeters and weighs 78 grams.

The T700 candybar will be available in three color versions: Black on Red, Black on Silver and Shining Silver, and it will be available sometime in the fourth quarter of the year, according to Sony Ericsson.

The retail price of Sony Ericsson T700 is currently not known.

Samsung i7110, a new high-end camera phone from the South Korean company has surfaced. The new i7110 is not yet confirmed by Samsung, as it only appeared in several leaked pictures.

From these leaked images, we can tell that the new handset comes in a candybar form factor and has a metallic case. Some of its features include: a 5 Megapixel camera with xenon flash and auto focus, a display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors, Bluetooth, optical mouse, Music player, FM radio and expandable memory.

For the moment, there are no details about the availability of Samsung i7110, nor about its price.
