This new Samsung Pixon, called the M8800, is a highly advanced mobile phone including a fantastic digital camera.

Samsung M8800 Pixon is already said to become one of the iPhone 3G competitors mostly due to the best touchscreen interface and good looks.

The M8800 camera phone comes with a fantastic camera, it delivers spectacular photos using the 3264×2448 pixel resolution, the camera also features autofocus, auto-panorama shot, face, advanced shake reduction, smile and blink detection camera. The Pixon comes with a secondary video call camera, a 3.2” QVGA(240×400pixels) 256K color TFT touchscreen, USB v2.0 microUSB, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, built-in GPS, geo-tagging feature, 200MB of internal memory and up to 8GB card slot, the MP4, MP3 and windows Media Player complete with surround sound system, the TV-out capability, FM radio, Java MIDP 2.0 and Office like programs.

The Pixon measures 107.9 x 54.6 x 13.8 and weighs 121 g.

The device is set to go to AT&T, running on the American 3G 1900 and 850 HSDPA 7.2 MBPS network.

Sony Ericsson C905a has been spotted at FCC.

The new device’s camera capabilities are spectacular: an 8.1 Megapixel CMOS (3264×2448, 7,99 effective pixels) camera with autofocus, 3-led videolight, Xenon flash, focus assist lamp, self portrait mirror, image stabilizer, 16x digital zoom, face detection autofocus for up to three faces, Auto Rotate, BestPic, a Mechanical lens cover, video recording QVGA (320×240pixels) capabilities, dedicated camera still/record/review key dual function D-pad and a photo album.

Besides the spectacular camera capabilities, Sony Ericsson C905a also features A-GPS with picture geotagging, Bluetooth, MicrosoftExchangeActiveSync, DNLA technologies, Netfront 4.5 web browser with autorotate capabilities, FM radio with RDS, PlayNow 5.0, the MediaPlayer 3.0 with Megabass, 160MB and the 2GB M2 memory included, a micro card slot for up to 8GB cards.

The new C905 will only come in three colors, namely Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold.

The C905’s release date and the price tag have not been set yet. Fortunately, it is known that this new camera phone from Sony Ericsson will be available via AT&T, using the American 3G network.

Motorola VE66, Motorola’s new camera phone, surfaced the Internet recently.

The VE66 is not official yet, but some features about this handset leaked and they’re looking good. It features a 5 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth with A2DP support, HSDPA connectivity, a Freescale SCM-A11 500MHz CPU, Montavista v2.6.10 Linux OS, a 2.4-inch display with 16 million colors and a microSD slot card.

Sharp’s new phone, the SH-01A, has recently been approved by the FCC. This device packs an 8 Megapixel camera with Flash, a 28mm wide-angle and the CCD sensor.

Sharp’s SH-01A comes in a clamshell form factor. Other details about this camera phone are not known yet.

It’s also one of the many pretenders for the title “King of the multimedia phones”, which is currently held by iPhone. Under the hood of the Samsung Pixon you’ll find many features, including an 8-megapixel camera marketed as “better than an actual camera” and multiple video file formats in order to play clips without having to convert them.

The device is exactly a representative of this class; innovative for Samsung, it’s not only their first 8-megapixel phone outside of Asia, but it will try to be a multimedia player and a smartphone at the same time. Having the name INNOV8 and internal model number i8510, it doesn’t fit in any of the previous classes of the manufacturer, but the idea it carries, reminds us of G810, which is also a multifunctional phone based on Symbian S60.

LG KC780, LG’s new camera phone, will pack an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, red eye reduction, face recognition and 30fps video recording capabilities. The phone just passed the FCC.

Coming in a slider form factor, the KC780 actually looks kind of ordinary. It brings the following features: quad band GSM/GSM/GPRS and EDGE connectivity, 140 MB of internal memory, a microSD card, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 and so on.

From the specs that have been made public so far, one can guess that LG KC780 is probably a midrange device.

LG KC910, a high-end touchscreen handset, will apparently be launched in October. Being the successor of the popular Viewty, the KC910 camera phone comes with an 8 megapixel camera.

KC910’s camera features Schneider-Kreuznach lens, auto focus, xenon flash, VGA video recording (at 30fps), lens cover and geotagging.

Besides having 8 Megapixels, LG KC910 will bring the following: a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, Flash User Interface, Dolby technology for an exquisite audio experience, quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), Bluetooth 2.0, internal GPS, Wi-Fi, TV out, DivX support and so on.

The retail price of LG KC910 is not known for the moment, but LG should announce it pretty soon.

Samsung i7110, a new high-end camera phone from the South Korean company has surfaced. The new i7110 is not yet confirmed by Samsung, as it only appeared in several leaked pictures.

From these leaked images, we can tell that the new handset comes in a candybar form factor and has a metallic case. Some of its features include: a 5 Megapixel camera with xenon flash and auto focus, a display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors, Bluetooth, optical mouse, Music player, FM radio and expandable memory.

For the moment, there are no details about the availability of Samsung i7110, nor about its price.
