The application will offer alerts, special offers, and ATM and merchant location servicesdirectly on cell phones.
Visa said that for the first few months, the application will be available just to Android phone users who also have Visa cards issued by JPMorgan Chase banks. It plans to open the application to other banks in 2009.

T-Mobile announced that the HTC G1’s subscribers would be able to have unlimited data transfer for just $35 per month on Tuesday, September 23, just after the release of Google’s Android Phone. However, according to a later post on the official website, subscribers would be limited to only 1GB of data transfer per month. On Thursday, T-Mobile said that the data limit policy had been removed.
What T-Mobile will announce next is anybody’s guess.

Google phone (aka HTC Dream or HTC G1), the first Android-powered device has recently appeared in a set of live images, caressed by sun.
A few days ago, the G-phone was (sort of) confirmed to be released by T-Mobile USA, presumably on September 23. Also presumably, the Android handset will only cost 199 bucks, together with a contract agreement for two years.
While until now we only saw the black HTC Dream / HTC G1, the new images show it dressed in the purest possible white.

The Google Android OS is generating more hype the closer we get to its market debut, and it will soon come to challenge Symbian, Windows Mobile, and Apple’s iPhone.
Andy Rubin, Google’s director of mobile platforms, recently made a new video presentation with a handset based on the Android platform.
On the featured demo you will see that, it is a 3G touchscreen handset powered by Qualcomm MSM7200 with a 300Mhz processor. It features Google Maps, Music Player and some sort of YouTube video player, WebKit browser, 3D graphics chips that can run the famous Quake game at 30 Fps, in real-time 3D, Google’s Street View application.
