Sony Ericsson Kumiko Square-ish Phone

Sony Ericsson Kumiko Square-ish Phone

Sony Ericsson is preparing to release two square-ish handsets, codenamed Kumiko and Eian.

The Kumiko should be officially named Sony Ericsson G705.

Coming as the first slider from the Web-oriented Gseries family, the Kumiko / G705 comes with a square-ish elegant design, and it brings the following features: an alphanumeric keypad, a 2.4-inch non-touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording and flash (no auto focus), secondary camera for video calls, accelerometer, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, and a Java-based interface. No word yet on internal memory, but the handset surely supports Memory Stick Micro cards.

At the moment, there are no official details about the handset, but it shouldn’t take long for Sony Ericsson to fully present it.
