Nokia N79, the latest Nseries smartphone, has been approved by the FCC recently.

Coming in a candybar form factor, Nokia N79 brings the following features: quad-band GSM with GPRS and EDGE, dual-band HSDPA connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, a 2.4 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, Symbian 9.3 S60 3rd Edition, a 5 Megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with auto focus, flash and video recording, accelerometer, a touch-sensitive navi heel, internal GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, HTML browser, RSS feed reader, email and Instant Messaging, Music player (MP3, WMA, M4A, AAC and eAAC+ support) Video player, stereo FM radio with RDS and FM transmitter, a 3.5mm headset jack, TV out, document viewer and 50MB of built-in memory, microSD and microSDHC cards for up to 8GB (a 4GB card for free).

Nokia N85, a new Nseries smartphone, has been presented by the Finnish company.

Coming in a slider form factor, the new N85 packs lots of high-end features: a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, 20x digital zoom, Carl Zeiss optics, Tessar lens, dual LED flash, geotagging and VGA video recording, secondary camera for video calls, a 2.6 inch TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels, 16.7 million colors, Symbian 9.3 S60 3rd Edition (with Feature Pack 2), brightness control and ambient light detector, accelerometer for automatic image rotation, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Nokia Maps,Nokia Web browser, Adobe Flash Lite 3.0, Adobe Reader, Nokia Nseries music player (supporting MP3, AAC, eAAC, eAAC and WMA), 3D stereo speakers, dedicated music keys, UPnP music streaming, FM radio with RDS, a 3.5 mm headset jack, FM transmitter, digital stereo microphone, N-gage gaming controls, text-to-speech, 74MB of internal memory and an 8GB microSD card.

Nokia recently presented a new Nseries smartphone: the N79. The new N79 will be available starting October for 350 Euros ($514).

Coming in a candybar form factor, Nokia N79 brings the following features: a 2.4 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, a 5 Megapixel camera with all the characteristics of the one included in the N85, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, GPS and A-GPS, Music and Video players, a 3.5mm audio jack, Nokia Maps, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, TV-out, pre-installed Nseries games and 50MB of built-in memory, a 4GB card and a 1200 mAh battery that can provide only up to 5.5 hours of GSM talk-time, 3.5 hours of 3G talk-time or up to 24 hours of music playback.

North America's Nokia N96 Will Cost $895

Nokia has announced the upcoming availability of the N96 Nseries flagship across North America. The North American N96 smartphone (aka N96 NAM) will be on sale in “the fourth quarter of 2008″ with a retail price for 895 USD (about 616 Euros).

The exact release date for Nokia N96 NAM is not known yet.

The difference between the North America N96 and the European/Asian version of the smartphone consists in the fact that the first has support for the 850 / 1900 HSDPA frequencies, while the other one works on the 900 / 2100 frequencies.

Other than that, the handsets are perfectly the same, offering one of the widest range of features ever packed in a Symbian smartphone: a 2.8 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, a 5 Megapixel Carl Zeiss auto focus camera, 16GB of internal memory, high-end multimedia capabilities, GPS, Wi-Fi, TV-out, full HTML browser and so on.

Fake Nokia N79 Available in China

Nokia has not confirmed yet the existence of an N79 smartphone, but a fake Nokia N79 has already appeared on the Chinese market.

Its design and overall look are very similar to the real N79.

When the fake N79 comes to features, it is not exactly worthy of an Nseries device: dual-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 MHz) with GPRS, a 2.4 inch TFT display with 260K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, a Symbian-like interface, MP3 player, Video player, FM radio, Bluetooth, WAP browser, MMS and SMS capabilities, pre-installed games, USB, 1MB internal memory and a 256MB memory card.

Nokia N96 Smartphone Will Be First Released in India

Nokia N96 will be first released in India, and the Indian division of Nokia said that Indian users would be able to buy the new smartphone starting September. The retail price of the N96 smartphone will be about 36,000 INR (526 Euros or 828 USD).

Nokia N96 comes with a dual-sliding design and runs on Symbian S60 3.2 Edition.

The new Nseries smartphone brings the following features: a 2.8 inch TFT display with QVGA resolution and 16 million colors, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, Carl Zeiss optics and video recording, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, a huge internal memory of 16GB, a microSD or microSDHC card, Media player with lots of formats supported, a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio with RDS, TV out and DVB-H TV receiver, full HTML browser, email, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and many others.

Nokia N85, a new Nseries smartphone, has been approved by the FCC and it should be released in the US sometime in the future.

Coming in a dual-sliding form factor, the new N85 brings the following features: quad-band GSM frequencies (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) as well as tri-band HSDPA frequencies (850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz), a 5 Megapixel camera with dual flash and lens cover, secondary camera for video calls, Symbian S60 3rd Edition, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi.

Nokia presents an online Flash demonstration of the N96 smartphone on its official website.

Nokia N96 was first presented in February 2008. It seems to be, by far, the best Nseries smartphone ever made.

Features of the Nokia N96 include: dual-slider design, quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA connectivity for fast data transfer speeds, a 2.8 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, Symbian S60 3rd Edition (3.2, more exactly), a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, Carl Zeiss optics and video recording (30fps in VGA mode), 16GB internal memory, microSD or microSDHC card support for up to 24GB, Music and Video players, DVB-H TV tuner, TV out, GPS, Nokia Maps, Wi-Fi, accelerometer, full HTM browser, a 3.5mm headset jack and so on.
