Peek, a Email-Only Handset is Now Available

Peek, a Email-Only handset, is now available across the US. It is a smartphone-shaped handset that’s not really a smartphone but just a super thin and stylish device that lets you take your email with you and stay connected. You can set up a maximum of three e-mail accounts, from popular providers like Hotmail, Yahoo, Google, AOL and so on.

Peek brings a large enough display (2.5 inches and 240 x 320 pixels) and a full QWERTY keyboard, it comes with a battery that should allow you to e-mail for about 2 to 3 days with a single charge.

According to the manufacturer, the handset has no “scary buttons” and it should be the simplest solution for busy customers who don’t enjoy reading their emails on an ordinary phone / Pocket PC / smartphone.

Peek weighs 109 grams (3.84 ounces), measures 4.02 x 2.7 x 0.42 inches (102 x 68 x 10 millimeters).

The Email-Only handset is available in all Target stores across the US, as well as online, via Peek’s official website in three color versions: Black Cherry, Aqua Blue and Charcoal Gray. It costs only $99.95, plus $19.95 per month if you want unlimited e-mail access.

There’s now an easy, cheap way for [elegance-appreciators] to keep in e-mail contact wherever they go.
