Motorola W265 and Another Unnamed Handset Approved by FCC

Motorola W265 (clamshell) and another unnamed handset (candybar) were recently approved by FCC.

Motorola W265 will work both on the 850 and 1900 GSM frequencies. The new clamshell is only a basic device, its most notable features being represented by its miniUSB, FM radio and embedded games. It seems to lack an external display and also doesn’t have a photo camera.

The unnamed candybar brings tri-band GSM and 3G/WCDMA connectivity. Other features include: a QVGA display with 240 x 320 pixel, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording and digital zoom, secondary camera for video calls, Music and Video players, GPS, Bluetooth, Web browser, email, Voicemail, MMS and SMS capabilities, Photo viewer, USB, microSD card supports for up to 2GB, voice memo, calendar, T9 predictive text input, stop watch, alarm clock, unit converter and so on.

No word yet about the possible release dates for the two new Moto handsets.
