LG KT520, a mid-end handset was recently launched in Taiwan. First unveiled at the beginning of the year, the new KT520 comes in a elegant slider form factor.

LG KT520 packs 3 Megapixel camera with digital zoom, auto focus and video recording. Other features include: tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) plus HSDPA 2100 connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, a 2.2 inch TFT display with 262K colors, 240 x 320 pixels and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, finger mouse, Music player, 60MB of internal memory, expandable to up to 4GBs with a microSD or microSDHC card, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, email, Web browser, Instant Messaging, voice command and pre-installed games.

The new slider measures 100 x 50 x 15 millimeters (when closed), weighs 100 grams.

LG KT520 is available in Taiwan for a retail price of 8,990 TWD (about 190 Euros or 300 USD).

Besides Taiwan, the KT520 is also available in Europe, and it will probably be released soon in more Asian countries.
