HTC Touch Viva Pocket PC Unveiled

HTC Touch Viva, a new Pocket PC, has been officially unveiled. It come with a similar form factor that resembles the old HTC Touch.
As a poor cousin of HTC Touch 3G, the Touch Viva comes with a processor that runs at just 201 MHz, quad-band GSM connectivity only (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and a 2 Megapixel camera. Aside from these features, the handset is not too different from the Touch 3G.
Peter Chou, HTC’s president and CEO said that, “The HTC Touch Viva and Touch 3G embody our commitment to build a family of touch phones that are powerful and stylish but also offer something to everyone. Whether you’re a professional or a student you can now get an HTC touch phone with a beautiful touch user experience”.
HTC Touch Viva should be available at the same time with the Touch 3G (in October), in only one color version: Storm Gray.
The Pocket PC’s price is unknown yet, but it will probably be about $100 lower than the one of the Touch 3G.
