iRiver is a South Korean electronics company, its first mobile phone was presented at the CES 2008. It has similar features with Apple’s iPhone, but is more cheaper. The iRiver GSM phone features a 3 inch, 480 x 272 pixel touchscreen, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording, 4 GB of internal memory, media player with Rhapsody music support, GPS, mobile TV, Adobe Flash player. It uses Linux-based OS, and will be sold unlocked.

iRiver is a trusted company, both in the US and around the globe, thanks to its wide range of high-quality audio players and other portable devices. Therefore, the future iRiver phone has all the chances to be a successful product, especially since the manufacturer said its price won’t be as high as the iPhone’s.
