CeBIT 2008: General Mobile GM500, the Smallest Phone

General Mobile presented its new GSM watch-phone - GM500 at the CeBIT 2008 show in Hannover, Germany. GM500, so called “smallest mobile phone in the world”, packs a tiny 1.5 inch OLED touchscreen display, measures only 58.1 x 44.2 x 16.4 mm and weighs 142 g (battery and metal wristband included). Other features include: tri-band GSM device (900, 1800 and 1900 MHz), 128 MB of built-in memory, GPRS, WAP, Bluetooth, USB, music player, video player,

The tiny cell watch can act like a handsfree for sporty / active people, providing flexibility in any situation. The usability of the phone has been improved by including touchscreen technology. Phone calls, SMS and MMS, listening to music or watching videos – the cell watch offers them all at the touch of a finger.

GM500 will be available starting the second quarter of 2008.
