New Sharp Handset with 8 Megapixel Camera

Sharp’s new phone, the SH-01A, has recently been approved by the FCC. This device packs an 8 Megapixel camera with Flash, a 28mm wide-angle and the CCD sensor.

Sharp’s SH-01A comes in a clamshell form factor. Other details about this camera phone are not known yet.

Other features include: 3G High Speed connectivity, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, microSD slot card for memory expansion, Media Player, Bluetooth 2.0, Bar code reader, Digital TV (One Seg), compatible with a well-known online stock trading site called E*Trade.

Sharp FOMA SH705iII TV Phone

Sharp recently unveiled a new TV phone, named Sharp FOMA SH705iII, it can offer a good mobile TV viewing experience with a built-in TV tuner and 2.8 inch 262,000 colors 400 x 240 pixels internal screen. Sharp FOMA SH705iII comes in a clamshell form, other features include: an external 96 x 39 pixels OLED screen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, 3G international roaming capability, microSD card support, battery life of 175 minutes for talk time and 2 hours for TV viewing. It measures 106 x 48 x 16.1 mm and weighs 106 g.

Sharp FOMA SH705iII is only available in Japan via NTT DoCoMo for the moment.

Sharp presented its new mobile TV phone – AQUOS SH905i (also named Sharp 905iSH or Sharp SH-905i) recently. It features a high-quality ASV-LCD 3.2 inch display (with 800 x 480 or 854 x 480 pixels resolution), a 3.2 Megapixel camera with Auto focus, microSD/HC card support, 3G, GPS, NTT DoCoMo’s Music, SD Audio, Internet Movie Player and i-Motion, Dolby Mobile technology.

It uses the SV engine to provide the best possible mobile TV experience, supports 1seg, Japan’s mobile terrestrial digital broadcasting service, and relies on Sharp’s exclusive Touch Cruiser interface.
