<p><em>Panasonic P706ie</em>, a mid-end clamshell, has recently been unveiled in Japan.</p>
<p>Measuring 109 x 49 x 16 millimeters, when kept closed, and weighing 106 grams, the new P706ie brings the following features: HSDPA connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, a 3 inch TFT internal display with 262K colors and 240 x 427 pixels, a small external 0.8 inch display with 96 x 25 pixels, a large internal keypad, mobile TV capabilities, Web browser, Instant Messaging, pre-installed maps, multi-tasking capabilities, bar-code reader, voice dialing, USB, both microSD/microSDHC cards support up to 8GB and a battery that should offer up to 190 minutes of talk-time, up to 20 hours of music playback, up to 330 minutes of TV viewing (if used in ECO mode) or up to 570 hours of stand-by time.<br />

<a href="http://mobile.dpszone.com/category/panasonic/" title="Panasonic"><strong>Panasonic</strong></a> P706ie comes in three color versions: black, silver and lavender. The retail price of the new clamshell has not been announced, but the P707ie should be commercially available starting August 15, offered by NTT DoCoMo under the name of FOMA P707ie.</p>

<p>Measuring 107 x 49 x 15.9 millimeters and weighing 118 grams and, the Mirror II brings the following features: a 3 inch TFT internal display with 260K colors and 240 x 427 pixels, an external hidden display with 96 x 25 pixels, WCDMA and HSDPA connectivity, a 2 Megapixel camera with VGA video recording and auto focus, secondary video-call camera, Mobile TV, internal GPS, Bluetooth, Web and email capabilities, Media player, expandable memory (up to 8GB, via a microSD or microSDHC card) and a battery that can offer a huge stand-by time – up to 600 hours, and only 220 minutes of  talk-time, the battery can also last up to 6.75 hours in TV viewing mode or up to 120 minutes in video-call mode.<br />

<p>Measuring 108 x 50 x 17.6 millimeters (when closed) and weighing 132 grams, the Tropical 823P features a 3 inch TFT internal display with 240 x 320 pixel, a secondary external screen with 96 x 25 pixels, WCDMA and HSDPA connectivity for fast data transfer speeds, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording and auto focus, secondary camera for video-calls, Music and Video players, IrDA, 1Seg for viewing TV programs, Web and email capabilities, GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, embedded games and a battery capable of providing up to 220 minutes of talk-time, up to 600 hours of stand-by time and up to 5.3 hours in TV-viewing mode.</p>
<p>The Tropical 823P will come in five color versions: white, black, red, blue and green.<br />
