BlackBerry Pearl 8220 (KickStart) Not That Cheap

BlackBerry Pearl 8220 (aka BlackBerry KickStart) will apparently be more expensive than initially rumored. According to recently leaked images at CrackBerry, Rogers Wireless, seems to have set the price of Pearl 8220 to $149.99 with a contract agreement for three years.

However, the new price is not confirmed by the Canada’s largest mobile carrier.

Being the first ever clamshell smartphone created by Research in Motion, the Pearl 8220 smartphone brings an internal display with 240 x 320 pixel, a external screen with 128 x 160 pixel, a SureType QWERTY keypad, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash, trackball navigation, a 3.5mm headset jack, 80MB of internal memory and a new BlackBerry OS.

BlackBerry Pearl 8220 will also hit the US market, presumably via T-Mobile.
